environment sounds

Post by joesph66 » Wed Jan 25, 2017 5:13 pm

I cannot get the environment sounds to play. The music plays but not the environment sounds. I have tried every possible configuration in audio. I even messed with the display options. I am running on windows and can get all other sounds and music to work just fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. Any idea what I need to do? Thank you.

There are separate audio controls for the game experience.

When you start Hearts, click Options (instead of going into Multiplayer mode) and then click Audio.

You will see three options under "Effects": Music, Environment and Sound.

Click the Environment section and adjust to a more suitable level.

Please advise if this is what you tried already.

2.0b238 is the version. When I attempt to update it tells me I have the latest version. I have been playing with the audio settings. I can get the music to play but not the environment effects. I'm on Windows 10 - that shouldn't be a problem but who knows.
