Re: The G with some Basics.

(3) Leading a Singleton ace into a loner on the 1st lead, is the wrong way to play it. That Ace can take a trick at any stage of the hand, DON'T lead it. Different if you have 2 aces. :) :) Eennie Meenie The G Actually lets create a scenario here. You are in first seat and the dealer picks up and c...

Re: What would you do?

I would expect my pard to have the right, so I would lead the Td hoping he could help with right or ace of that suit....then get last 2 tricks with my trump for the 2.

Re: The G with some Basics.

Ok, there is still a discussion on a blind hand with no information about upcard rank or which player made trump. Playing an ace in this situation seems to be the general vote. If the maker, is to my left, an ace would not be the best choice. As G pointed out correctly, this is when leading that 9 i...

Re: The G with some Basics.

Ok I have something for you all. I just got jumped for leading next in the 1st seat when it was picked up by the other team. So I'll put it on the table for discussion. When you're in the first seat and trump has been picked up by your opponents what would you lead? I know it depends on what's in y...

I found 1 solution to programs freezing

I had a problem with Euchre and other programs freezing. After hitting Ctrl, Alt, Delete to bring up the XP windows task manager, I noticed euchre.exe process was using 100% CPU usage available. Did virus scans and spyware scans, nothing was found. Then looked on another forum where others had simil...

I think Toronto would be a great choice.....common people, show some sympathy and let Toronto have something. Our hockey team has been losers since '67.

Results like this happens not only online....but in real life too. I seen at the casino; the roulette wheel hitting red 20+ times in a row, banker winning in bacarrat 20+ times in a row, craps shooter rolling 3hrs without crapping out. Odds of all these are over 1 million to 1, but if the sample is ...

The rules on hardwood euchre are the same as rules set by Grand Prix World Series Of Euchre Tournament. No defending alone, and making on 0 trump is allowed. Seems defence against loners was a common practice there too.

I haven't been here for a while, and was just reading some posts. Then Lead Um P came up with a probable scenario............. Then let me ask this..
