Re: Leaving a game after deal, but before bid

I think it's really tough to make rules or penalties to make things fair for 100% of the players. The sad truth is that almost anything put in place to stop one kind of behavior will almost undoubtedly have undesired affects in other situations or scenarios. As we all know, we're playing a game onli...

Re: Question about game logs

As far as the phrases go, I agree. The only issue is that based on what's available currently, the game creator(s) seem to be very politcally correct and cannot and will not add any phrase that can even remotely be seen as offensive, no matter how ridiculously mild the phrase is. It seems that anyth...

That sounds like a generic company answer to me.

As a former paid user but not any longer, why are my stats not displayed when I join a social game? I understand that you want users to keep paying, but there is no reason that my previous win/loss history has to not be shown any more. Same goes for the people who have never paid, they should still ...

Re: Bug in Spades v2 that needs to be fixed

So, I've just played a wonderful game today. Me and my partner were doing well and were up by a few hundred points, then my partner gets disconnected for a short time. The losing team then proceeds to vote me out of the game and then abandons after I was kicked. Fantastic. Talk about a giant hole in...

Yes, it's the season to celebrate the story of the imaginary guy who lives in the sky. Happy Holidays.

Re: Invite Option

It is harassment if done multiple times. I've see the list shift as you're trying to click on a name, but if you have eyes and are able to read, you're able to adjust and click on the person you mean to invite. I guess judging by your response, you've never been invited 4 or more times in a row and ...

Re: Example of slanted deals

well duh , I know that, you missed the point completely that I was testing the slanted deal theory. Oh and if it was just me thinking this is going on I would not say anything but quite a few other players are seeing the same pattern. I didn't miss your point, but there is no real way to determine ...

Re: Example of slanted deals

You're going to take a huge hit in points if you lose to someone who has a much lower rating than you do. To avoid this, only play with players who are as close to your rating as possible.

Re: RESET

You're always taking a chance when playing with strangers online. You either take that chance and hope for the best, or find a permanent partner that you know is competent that can follow you around and sit across from you everywhere you go. Other than that, I do agree. People do stupid things and r...

Re: Team Bidder!

It seems like most of the players I've played against are only looking to bid on cards that they are absolutely sure are going to win the book (nothing lower than a King in most cases). Players like this cause issues for the rest of the players. After they get rid of their Aces and KIngs, they will ...

Re: Bug in Spades v2 that needs to be fixed

If one cares more about how he or she "looks" than about winning, he or she is probably playing the wrong game. That response would make perfect sense if the only thing I'd written was: Most people aren't going to believe that you had some kind of master plan to keep the Ace and bid nil. You'll pro...

Re: Bug in Spades v2 that needs to be fixed

Even if you do want the option to kill your own nil, you'd also want the option to keep your nil intact if you choose to depending on how the hand works out. You don't need the Ace of Spades to ruin a nil, but having that card will ensure that you absolutely have to. On a side note: If you're seen h...
