Bierbuik, was that the exact text of the mail (you copied it)?? Jeez, it's bad enough when you get scammed, but when the scam has bad grammar it's even more amazing. I know Jonas may spell a touch funny here on the boards, but I'm sure all professional communications would be clearly written!!! Just...

It's your router that's causing the issue. You need to go in and set the port forwarding for port 2000 (thanks manny!). Also, from the admin screen, you'll be able to get the router's IP address (not the 198.162.x.x, but the external address (the one the Internet sees). With the port forwarded and t...

Thank you Count, you said it perfectly! Our minds generally process information faster than we can consciously comprehend it. Much like in sports, you do your best when you get into a "groove" and disengage thinking about it. Your mind deals with all of the inputs, and just "tells" you what to do. T...

There's still a difference between dropping the Q on a high player and intentionally dumping ALL your points on them. However, sometimes you've just got no choice. A perfect example I keep running into is when someone feels the need to take every trick led by the lowman. If you don't duck, I can't H...

I'm with duffer on two counts. It has been proven by physics (wingspace to mass ratio, structure of wing) that a bumblebee (not a honeybee) is incapable of flight. Yet it does. I also believe in hunches. Which is only a part of intuition. Being able to interpret who's holding what by what's being pl...

AB, I have to point out a potential fallacy in your arguement regarding leading a low diamond without knowing the jack's location in hearts. I tend to play shallow in diamonds due to the fact that almost nobody passes dimes in jack games. Thus I can end up with a void (or singleton) suit early on. I...

Chad: Are you running a virus scanner/autoprotect (Norton, McAfee, etc)? Some of these prevent new registry keys from being added, which would prevent it from storing your registration keys. I know that when I uninstalled/reinstalled ALL of my HW apps, the codes were still there, and it booted as "F...

I think motion pictures run at around 42fps. You can barely (but still) detect any kind of frames at 30, but anything over that is full-speed. Things that lower your frame rates: Lots of animation. Lots of polygons (complex graphics), Higher resolutions, Higher color depth (more colors). What rocks ...

PSP = Paint Shop Pro. Quite decent image editing program. Competitor for: Adobe Photoshop. Which costs more than $400 nowadays. PSP is relatively inexpensive by comparison. Don't know PSP. I DO know photoshop. It can definitely be intimidating for a Graphic Artist (which is what y'all are, really) w...

Mushie, FPS is used to show how many frames per second the animation is running at. Generally, this is used when the animation seems choppy (too much for your poor video card, fps drops to about 10 and you notice). If your FPS is too low, try dropping the # of colors or resolution, and it should get...
