Lowman is the style I play....but many on the site do not. But it would be a great option to have. Would just need to programme that if Q is dumped on highman....points goes to the one who dumped. Would make very interesting.

(((((((((((Hallooooooooooo))))))))))))

This forum is starting to get real dull.....just checking for any signs of life.

And the only post of year so far (please all read), was just personal bickering and a waste of web space. How dull

Can someone please post something interesting?

I think Stan the Man was hoping the Mercedes in question is the name of a mail-order bride from Europe. Why else would that response come so fast? :P

Gary, "opaque" is something that will not let light go through. Something that lets some light go through is said to be "translucent". And an object that lets most or all light go through is "transparent".

The average brain produces 10 thoughts per second. I would have to say the 1st caller should be given no more then 2-3 seconds thinking time...and the players after should already know what to do when it's their turn; and have mouse arrow in appropriate place ready to click (assuming everyone is tun...

Interesting set of problems Joe. But try to figure out probability of this particular hand I was euchred on; my partner the dealer turns down a 9h as upcard, its passed to me and I am sitting there with JsJcKcAhAd...naturally I call clubs alone. Lead from my right is a spade, I play Kc, so protected...

What are the odds of this?????

Today I had a unique scenario....I was dealt hand Ac10c9cJhQh....then the next hand...the exact same hand suits and all!

Let me see if I can calculate those odds............

5/24 x 4/23 x 3/22 x 2/21 x 1/20 = 120/5,100,480 = 1 in 42,504

that's pretty rare...................

I think he's more qualified to run for "President Of The United States", or "Daddy" of the Year. After he recieves those 2 titles, then Silvercreek can put him to werk.

Well, it seems a line has been crossed into the "excessive" zone for attempting to discipline. The solution will never have a definitive answer, so dont try looking........it does not exist.

Tri, If people just watched games they would not be a problem but some watcher carry on long and involved conversations with players and that slows the game and quite often annoys the team not involved. When I'm playing I don't want to be subjected to other peoples domestic problems, and yes it has...

GTO wrote Let me clarify, none of my lowest of the deck cards in any of those hands were trump. So, still stands the point that I'd better not see a hand like that again for the next 18 weeks or I'm flying to Canada to hunt Andy down. Well there are 2 things one must know when talking about ...

AHHH....no ace, no face, no trump (granny hand). (The chance of a player receiving only 9's or 10's without any of them being the upcard suit is 0.00446%, or one out of every 22433 hands. Since there are four players, and each has exactly the same probability of receiving such a hand at the beginnin...
