I agree with both of you to never put down a pard. I usually don't say anything during the game and rarely after. Unless we talk specificaly about what happened and then I try to say it nicely. Yes, I play for fun but for me it's fun to win.

What's your "deal breaker" in a partner?

What is the one mistake a person makes that will eventually make you say "NO more with that person?" And how many times do they have to make that mistake before you cross them off your list of pards? I will tell you mine is burning a king(when they have other options as to what to lead), and if it ...

Everyhand is a different situation so what I choose to pass to my partner depends on the following factors:

1.Total table bid
2.Score
3.Security of my nil

Disclaimer-I get worked over by old ladies in a pass room, so this pass advice might be less then solid.

I have always supported the host's right to kick anyone they want. I also don't get offended if I am kicked. I realize that I am a very intimidating opponent and am sure only the best are not in fear of me. I like the idea that you could tell someone why they are being kicked. This way if people ar...

Galt, I spit coffee out of my nose when I thought of you sitting there thinking someone could see you and the deep shades of red that you became as you thought of all the people that had watched you play spades. I would have passed out. I keep my web cam in the drawer because I have a weird fear of ...

Maybe if there was a surrender option people in hopeless situations would not quit. At some point the game can be not fun and feel like a waste of time.

Loss of server....

Just curious how long to expect the loss of server disconnects.

3 times today for me. It is not a big deal but was wondering if more are expected and for how long.

In HW if you sit and play provisional games you SHOULD have considerably more wins then losses. It is a joke of a game half the time or more. But does this mean you have gained skills and experience by playing that many games? Not at all. I can win at Scrabble against my middle school students all d...
