Windows Vista Driver

Post by JohnS816 » Fri Jun 01, 2007 3:53 pm

I purchased the Hardwood Backgammon game on CD today and the Vista OS would not allow the program to install. Where can I get a driver to fix the problem?

If you bought the CD from our website, it should work. Our old CDs didn't quite work, but the more recent ones do.

I bought the CD from a Best Buy store. Does your reply mean I bought a product that will not work with Windows Vista?

basically yes.

The company that distributed the game is using installation software that isn't compatible with the Vista operating system.

We've brought it to their attention, but unfortunately it doesn't resolve your issue.

I believe this is the support site for those best buy games:

I'm sorry that you had a poor experience with the game, if you do take it back, you can in fact order a current and vista compatible version from us directly.

Just download the demo here and from in the game you can purchase it, and you'll be up and running in minutes from now.
