Not sure how that would work but CONGRATULATIONS on what ever miricle happened and I will keep my fingers crossed for you that it keeps working

I did more playing around and found out the following:

The music has to be ON when you open the game, then the sound effects work. You can turn music off after game starts.

If you enter game with music OFF, the sound effects will not work no matter what you do.

Maybe the was mentioned earlier on in suggestions - if so, I missed it - but this might be of some help to others who have the same problem.

I haven't had a chance to go into the game for a few weeks, but decided to see today if there were any responses to my post. There are lot's. There were a couple that I thought I would try so I started the game.

Guess what- Sound! and I didn't do anything - no settings changes, no uninstall/reinstall - just double-click on the icon. Don't know if it will last, but I'll enjoy it while I have it.
