Welcome to the Video Poker Duel Beta! Updated 2/17

Post by Jonas » Tue Feb 26, 2013 4:27 pm

Hey folks, I'd like you welcome you to the our beta testing forum for Video Poker Duel, our new Video Poker game that's played in head to head challenges, or as standard single player video poker.

So without further ado, here is Video Poker Duel.

Windows download:
http://s3.silvercrk.com/downloads/Insta ... erDuel.exe

Android Download: (you may need to enable 3rd party apps since you're downloading it directly from for the time being. Android should prompt you)
http://s3.silvercrk.com/downloads/VideoPokerDuel.apk

We'd really like to get both tested out, so if you have a android tablet or phone, please be sure to test it out there as well.

For those acquainted with standard video poker.... playing a single player game will seem pretty straight forward, with the only difference is that we do 100 Credit games at a time so we can do leader boards.

However, you can also challenge a friend to a duel. Where the two of you square of in a battle to see who can come out with the most winnings in a 100 chip game. And while you both get to keep your winnings, the victor gets bonus chips.

For those of you NOT familiar with video poker, heres the gist of it....

You place a bet between 1 and 5 credits and 5 cards are dealt out.

The goal is to make poker hands which are:
Image
Royal Flush
Straight Flush
Four of a kind
Full House
Flush
Straight
Three of a kind
Two Pair
Jacks or Better
(High Hand doesn't apply)

The pairs need to be Jacks or higher, so a pair of 3's won't cut it. However 3 low cards would still get you "three of a kind"

Take this game for a spin, and help us find whats broke and what you like or dislike about the game.

The website declined to show this webpage?? For some reason I kept getting this message when trying to update my poker?? How ever after restarting my computer and once again over riding P.C. Tools spy ware I do believe I am now up to date, as yet I have not noticed any difference. Will keep you informed. It still is far better to play an opponent than to just play the dealer. I am addicted to the challenges that I have thanks to Sandy and Mod
