I use Windows 98, (don't like the xp,) but only 455mghz speed, am upgrading after xmas to 1.4, :lol:

oh...this is a good one.
i gotta new pc,with XP on it.now when i first dl hearts,for some reason i can't hear the card falling at the game,all other sounds work fine,besides the card slapping.anyone having that problem as well?

Shab, try re-installing the game first (right over the top of the old install). Also, run WinUpdate and make sure your audio drivers are current. Give it a shot and let us know.

Do not know if this is a glitch, but when I posted the above post I did not see the voting apparatus that I saw now. That is why I posted above. All I saw was the results. I voted in the proper way now.

Windows XP Pro - All Hardwood games work wonderfully most of the time.

thanks dear..i did try to upload new drivers and somehow it is stil not working.i am right now on my old pc,due to the icestorm we had down here and i guess i will enjoy now 'reg' game of hearts.i stil have to mess around with xp....this is one os i don't know jackity about.

Now Now, that all depends on what you *do* with the system, correct? :D

I work primarily with sound and audio engineering and WindowsME performs flawlessly! I haven't had a single crash in two years.

In fact, the main reason I upgraded from 3.1 (which also performs nicely) is the increased hard drive capacity.

I do understand what you mean though, for the general computer user.
