RE-SETTING OF PLAYER RATINGS

Post by Siemens Sl45 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 2:46 am

i STRONGLY BELEIVE THAT THE RESET BUTTON IN ALL PLAYERS PROFILES BE REMOVED SO THAT WE ALL MAY BE ABLE TO VIEW THEIR CORRECT READING/PROFILE ETC.

IT MAY BE ALSO WISE FOR SILVER CREEK TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF ALIASES USED PER KEY ASWELL AS THERE ARE TO MANY ADDED NICS IN PLAY.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ???

I for don't agree, not sure what you mean by "correct reading/profile" but if you mean real info on the player, I don't think so...

As far as doing away with the reset, why, it's an option for many reasons....

People make names for the seasons, an idea, etc., only a few really make more than 10 or more.

JUST DUST
TO BE OR NOT TO BE..... NOW WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT??? TO BE OF COURSE!!!!!

I agree with Dust...I make nics for a song...a saying.....or just for my mood....and I have 1000's of em......part of the attraction.....

As far as resetting its something I have only done a few times in all the years I have been in HW....doesnt bother me if others do tho.....its their choice....I only do it with a provie and usually only if the first game goes bad......I never do it once my nics are rated however.........

If you are that worried about playing someone who has reset their nic, just use the established option when hosting your game.
High rating, low rating..doesn't really matter to me. I just enjoy a good game. We all started at 1500 at one time.

Ok ill accept that there are many reasons for extra nicknames but i still do stronly beleive that the reset button located in the players profile shuld be removed.

I beleive that we should be able to view the current ratings and that these players NOT to be able to reset their rating. Everyone has a different opinion.
