Dain Bramaged

Post by Net Ranger » Wed Dec 10, 2008 4:40 am

A man holds 3 coins in his hand which add up to 80 cents. One of them is NOT a 20 cent piece. All the coins are minted in Australia. They are in current circulation. What are the 3 coins he holds?

(For those non aussies, Australian coins are 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 & $2)

Easy! A 50c, a 20c and a 10c piece. One of them (either the 50c or 10c piece) is not a 20c piece!

You owe me a vegemite sandwich.

Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 22nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

Brad was a window washer and had been on the outside of the building looking in. He jumped through the window and landed safely on the floor.

Cheese please!

There is a frog, dead in the middle of a pond. If he swims north, the distance to the mainland is 2 meters. If he swims south, the distance to the mainland is 3 meters. If he swims east or west, the distance is 4 meters. Which way does he swim?

No, we are not the same person. Point taken on discussion thread topic relevance to board. Net Ranger, lets take the humor over to one of the non-specific boards.

You owe Dust in the Wind a recipe for frog legs and a Fosters.
