Interference with Mail.app windows

Post by elusiveconcordance » Tue Apr 19, 2005 8:05 am

Jonas,
You're gonna love this one. If you launch Dangerous Mines while Mail.app is up, then swap out of Dangerous Mines to check your mail and open a message, Mail thinks the message window is open but it does not appear on the screen. You have to quit Dangerous Mines and Mail and restart Mail to see the message. If you leave the message window open, it will pop open again when you start Mail.

I don't make this stuff up...I just report it.
The software box said "Intel Pentium 4 or better required" so I bought a Mac.

Another Mail.app anomoly is that you can't even quit it and must force it to quit.

Apparently, applying Security Update 05-2005 to Mac OS X 10.3.9 fixes the Mail.app behavior that I documented earlier! Go figure.....
