Im curious as to when Spade's was made available to play online....I have seen many player's say they have played here in HW SPADES for 6 year's or longer.
It is my understanding Spade's started in 2001...I joined in 2002....

September 1999 was when Hearts was launched, in the summer of 2000 a few of us started testing the Spade beta. For quite some time there it was bigger chance of shooting the moon then getting a full table even though we tried recruiting players in Hearts by both threats and promises LOL.
I don't remember the exact date of the official release of Spades but it was in January 2001 sometime so it's probably that one you've heard about Primal.

If you'd like some facts about hardwoods history and when each game started, check this post from way back when. . . . .
http://forums.silvercrk.com/phpBB2/view ... highlight=
Most players are way off on when they think they started.
I purchased HW Hearts (before online play) in Dec of 1999. So anyone that's says they were here before that, might have miscalculated the date. It was a few months later that I started Hearts and it told me there might be new updates. After I updated and started the game it had "Play Hearts Online" in the list. So sometime after the new year in 2000 was when the hearts community was born. Enjoy the post.
It's called "Fire Up The Wayback Machine, Sherman"

I thought something was wrong when I would see player's say....Oh I have been playing spade's since 99 or longer as I recall Orbit saying saying she was here (spades) from the begining in 01 not 99....
Thank's Mina and Zeus for setting the record straight....
