ever wonder why there have never been any noted physicists from Croatia even nominated for the nobel prize? it seems teaching things like vectors, the theory of relativity, rates of decent, etc. dont rank very highly when considering learning how to properly milk a goat takes precident, even in croatian highschools. a law passed in 1960 by Croatian parliament banned the use of death defying stunts by Croatian circus performers after an unfortunate accident involving the 'human canonball'. of course, Croatia is so far behind in technology, that no cameras were available in the 60's, so an artist rendered the scene for posterity.

although startled, the elephant was not harmed in the extraction. the performer, whos name was Amaltheador Hitsdachitz recovered from his injuries and went on to run one of the largest fertilizer distribution centers in Croatia. he is survived by 2 daughters.

The other night Goga was invited out for a night with "the girls." She told her Dad that she would be home by midnight, "I promise!"
Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, she headed for home.
Just as she got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly, realizing Dad would probably wake up, she cuckooed another 9 times. She was really proud of herself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed...3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT! :)
The next morning her Dad asked her what time she got in, and she told him "Midnight". He didn't seem upset at all. Whew! Got away with that one!
Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock." When she asked him why?, he said, "Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said, "Oh Crap.", cuckooed 4 more times, cleared it's throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted."

Last year, amalthea died her hair dark. since then, the following has surfaced as to her life as a blonde, and why she went this route:

She was Soooooooo Blonde .
* She thought a quarterback was a refund.
* She thought General Motors was in the army.
* She thought Meow Mix was a CD for cats.
* She thought Boyz II Men was a day care center.
* At the bottom of an application where it says "Sign here:" she wrote "Sagittarius."

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She took the ruler to bed to see how long she slept.
* She sent a fax with a stamp on it.
* Under "education" on her job application, she put "Hooked On Phonics." !

She was Sooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She tripped over a cordless phone.
* She spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."
* She told me to meet her at the corner of "WALK" and "DON'T WALK."
* She tried to put M! &M's in alphabetical order.

She was Soooooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* She studied for a blood test.
* She sold the car for gas money.
* When she missed bus #44 she took bus #22 twice instead.
* When she went to the airport and saw a sign that said, "Airport Left," she turned around and went home.

She Was Sooooooooooooooooooooo Blonde...
* When she heard that 90% of all crimes occur around the home, she moved.
* She thought if she spoke her mind, she'd be speechless.
* She thought that she could not use her AM radio in the evening.
* She had a shirt that said "TGIF," which she thought stood for "This Goes In Front."

She was sooooooooooooooooo Blonde...

She thought Taco Bell was the Mexican phone company

LOL well ok Ez, I wanted to keep your secret but now u've done it.

I told you before there is nothing wrong with working as a Canadian coastguard, there is absolutely nothing you got to be ashamed about:

When I started playing euchre I learned alot about americans, canadians, australians etc, and ofcourse the basic differences between themselves. What I've been told that one of the big differences between americans and canadians is that canadians have lack of patriotism (or americans have too much hihi).
I took that for granted before Ez sent me his picture above. I mean maaaan, this proud little canadian, all dressed up and armed eager to protect his country from the mad fishes and stuff.
And I said: Ez, this is the picture not only of you, but of canadian patriotism as well. Shows the courage and wholeheartedness of one troll ....eeer man, on a small tub... eeer ship proudly floating... eeer speeding to protect and serve his country.

I am proud to have you for a friend, if you every float around adriatic we would be pleased to have you here :) (but have in mind your vehicle will not pass a croatian technical exam for vessels)
