Most people try out 7.0 then run back to 6.0!

use system tools, run disc clean up, then run defrag, open IE7 >internet options>delete all browsing files

...I had 7 installed and running for about 5 minutes before I uninstalled it and gave a big sigh of relief that I had not done any permanent harm to my web browsing setup! 7 seemed to take on a life of its own, and would have required MASSIVE tweaking to get it to work the way I wanted it to - if that would even have been possible! 8)

I'm on the flip side and have not had trouble running it and have been a Mozilla user for a while now and rec. that as an alternative to IE6 since it runs much faster and cleaner. For IE7 to work properly I agree you do have to configure it correctly for your connection for it to work well.
