Passing cards

Would it be possible to develop games where the passes are random instead of the standard LEFT,RIGHT,ACROSS & NO PASS.
I Pesonally feel that this would bring a new concept to games especially pards where alot of points seem to be accumilated,by fair means or other.
I realise that this would not alliviate the use of msn,facebook,microphones etc and I doubt that anything implimented would stop these pointless underhand tactics but I think it could bring a little fun back to the game.

as long as it tells you in the middle of the table where you are passing i am confused enough ... but sounds good to mix things up a little

I think your probably missing the point.
I feel the idea of random passes would be aimed to confuse players so they couldn't predict game results the way that SOME seem to
